Press: End of Galatico Era?
Wednesday, March 15th, 2006LOAD OF RUBBISH, SAYS KAH-FA
Kahfa denies any allegations of calling his players full of shit. He is
reported to be clenching his iron fist because the players are talking too
much to the press.
END OF GALATICO ERA FOR DHSFC?
On the other side of the globe, the out-of-favor Van Gabrielrooy spoke
volumes about teamwork and commitment. Despite being dropped for the third
consecutive match, Van Gabrielrooy denies any training room bustup, and
encourages the team to stick together.
"My record for DHSFC or any other team," he says,"is bloody expectional.
The entire team may be full of shit, but I’m not one of them." Confident as
he is, Van Gabrielrooy may be looking to follow Roy Keane’s footsteps with
his apparent lack of team spirit and concern for his teammates.
In response to the ‘full of shit’ comments by Kah-Fa, he said that it was
normal, and cited a lack of support from the fans ever since he moved in
2002. "I’ve always said that I don’t want to be where I’m not loved. I
will look at my situation after the World Cup."
But given the premium football rightly attaches to goalscoring magical
players - not to mention the wealthy CLUBS targeting a PLAYER of van
Gabrielrooy’s calibre - Kah-Fa may need his dropped playmaker more than that
bugger needs DHSFC now.
That being said, he is still unlikely to even get a call-up for the next 10
matches. And the only clubs that are willing to take him now are the "hip
hop" clubs in USA, but even then, only for one night each.
So hello Gao "star striker" Lianshu, goodbye Van Gabrielrooy.
