Press: End of Galatico Era?

Wednesday, March 15th, 2006

LOAD OF RUBBISH, SAYS KAH-FA

Kahfa denies any allegations of calling his players full of shit.  He is
reported to be clenching his iron fist because the players are talking too
much to the press.

END OF GALATICO ERA FOR DHSFC?

On the other side of the globe, the out-of-favor Van Gabrielrooy spoke
volumes about teamwork and commitment.  Despite being dropped for the third
consecutive match, Van Gabrielrooy denies any training room bustup, and
encourages the team to stick together.

"My record for DHSFC or any other team," he says,"is bloody expectional.
The entire team may be full of shit, but I’m not one of them."  Confident as
he is, Van Gabrielrooy may be looking to follow Roy Keane’s footsteps with
his apparent lack of team spirit and concern for his teammates.

In response to the ‘full of shit’ comments by Kah-Fa, he said that it was
normal, and cited a lack of support from the fans ever since he moved in
2002.  "I’ve always said that I don’t want to be where I’m not loved.  I
will look at my situation after the World Cup."

But given the premium football rightly attaches to goalscoring magical
players - not to mention the wealthy CLUBS targeting a PLAYER of van
Gabrielrooy’s calibre - Kah-Fa may need his dropped playmaker more than that
bugger needs DHSFC now.

That being said, he is still unlikely to even get a call-up for the next 10
matches.  And the only clubs that are willing to take him now are the "hip
hop" clubs in USA, but even then, only for one night each.

So hello Gao "star striker" Lianshu, goodbye Van Gabrielrooy.

Following DHSFC’s manager’s press release to the media, controversial player, Ong
"no nickname" Ning How has stepped into the media for the first time.

"I’ve been badly misquoted by the media. I enjoy playing for the club and have a great working relationship with the gaffer. I will play wherever the manager wants me to. I have settled well into the Tampines club and have great support from the more experienced players. I respect’s the gaffer’s decision and will do what is best for the club. Leaving was never crossed my mind."

"I am satisfied with the latest training session but will prove it on the pitch what i can add to the team."

In response to Ninghao, Kahfa Benitez said," The players are united in all fronts. There was never a crisis in the first place."

Kahfa added," don’t listen to rumours. the focus is always on the team, not individuals."

Skipper Kim "Fat Ro" Wah is glad the problem has been solved. Kim said,"I never doubted the players’ commitment and the immense team spirit that we have as a club."

He ended asking," What’s for supper?"

It seems that DHSFC is back on track after some nervous moments and is ready to challenge for the league.

Following his outburst to the media and unfair attempts to implicate a LONG teammate, Utility player Ong Ning Hao has been fined 2 weeks wages by the GREAT Kah-Fa.

Press: DHSFC player expresses displeasure at club’s management

Monday, March 13th, 2006

Sources have revealed at DHSFC’s Ninghao’s displeasure at the club’s management. It is said that Ninghao is dissappointed at the manager’s repeated no-show during their scheduled training each Sunday at the club’s official training ground, Shell Stadium.

A close friend is quoted as saying," Ninghao is worried that the management’s absence from training will affect his chances of forcing his way into the first team. He is working hard in training but it seems as if no one is there to see it. Ninghao believes he has to move on in order to get greater playing chances."

The incident is thought to be sparked by the players’ latest training session where Ninghao was alledged to have scored 3 goals. A rarity for his standard, including wat Kim "Fat Ro" Hwa said was a superb volley.

According to Wen "Adebayor" Jie, " I think he did ok to finish the move with a volley, but let’s not forget my excellent dummy set him up." Other witnesses on ground have mentioned that it looked like Wenjie totally missed the ball. An un-named source said," Looks like he (Wenjie) just missed the ball totally leh. It was a dummy meh? hmm…" The verdict on the rumoured dummy is still not out.

Team mate, Kuey "Makelele" Chee, reflected Ninghao’s feelings. "Team spirit seems to be low. Used to be a time where they will celebrate the goal together. Nowadays people seem to be playing for themselves. But I don’t wish to comment on our gaffer. I love the gaffer. I think he is doing an amazing job at the club."

Kuey later hunt down the reported to add," Please don’t drop me from the squad, Sir."

Ninghao’s agent has added," It is true that Ninghao worries about his playing career, unfortunately, at the present moment, no other clubs seems interested in his services. In fact, I doubt anyone will in the forseeable future."

When approached by the media regarding players’ repeated no-show, star striker Adriano "Da-tou" Soo said, " I think what’s important is our first touch."

DHSFC manager, Kah-fa Benitez, was not available for comments.

Turmoil at the club continues worringly just weeks prior to the start of the season.
